Time lapse

Today was definitely a rest day. We were all shattered from our travels and Nana made us promise not to wake her up at any time resembling morning. Not even sure if Scott left the house today...

Nana and I did make it out to the grocery store as we still hadn't picked up our turkey or done the shopping for Thanksgiving. We had secretly grabbed a bag of potato chips and made our getaway in the Smart car...

At least an hour later, we had gotten the turkey, some fresh cranberries (hooray, hadn't been able to find them before) some meatballs for some pre-Thanksgiving spaghetti, and a stack full of British home magazines with enough ideas and tips to re-decorate all of the USA. We also indulged by picking up some lemon sorbet that would be sure to keep the cooks happy as they slaved in the kitchen.

Little did any of us know... but then to tell you about that would be jumping ahead several chapters, so I'll just start by saying that we are safely home in Scotland from Belgium and I shall try to summarize our adventures, and what adventures they were, over the next few days.
